Chapter 248
"Did you buy all these, Mrs. Savage?" the butler, Edwin Sampson, asked.
Priscilla loved buying clothes, but she would never purchase this many at once. "No, | didn't."
She rushed over to rummage through the clothes and noticed they were all outfits meant for young women.
"Who is the recipient?"
"Mr. Gavin." Edwin hesitated for a moment before whispering, "Maybe he bought them for his girlfriend."
"No way!" Priscilla shook her head.
Yolanda was as plump. There was no way she could fit into these outfits that were a standard size and even a
size smaller.

But soon, she had a thought, and a gleam of delight flashed in her eyes. "I knew it! Gavin only did that out of
spite!"
Priscilla sighed in relief and said to Edwin, "Take these clothes to Gavin's room."
Only Yvonne could wear such outfits, so Gavin's declaration of making Yolanda his fiancée must have been a way
to embarrass them publicly.
Otherwise, why would he buy clothes that Yolanda couldn't wear instead of plus- size dresses? Clearly, these
weren't meant for Yolanda!
Priscilla figured Gavin would lose his patience after pretending for a while.
While she was pleased with Gavin's transformation, she had been quite troubled about the whole fiancée
situation and was pressuring the Henderson family from tto time.
Now, thinking she had uncovered the truth, she could finally relax and pamper herself.
"Edwin, book a 2:00 pm appointment at Blossom Wellness for me. | want to go for a spa." Priscilla happily went
upstairs to change her clothes.
She wasn't in a rush to reveal Gavin's thoughts. She believed that since he dated Yolanda to get back at them,
he must be having a hard tseeing that ugly creature.
Just the thought of Gavin being forced to date Yolanda made Priscilla smile.
"He wouldn't know what he wants without comparison. He's constantly faced with a pig. He'll soon realize how
suitable Yvonne is as his fiancée."
The next day, First Academy announced the final list of candidates selected for the Art Festival exhibition.
Rachel's nwas prominently displayed at the top of the list.
When Rachel saw her non the announcement, she maintained an appearance of composure and rationality.
She calmly accepted the genuine and insincere congratulations from her classmates.

On the inside, however, she was overjoyed.
Her talent in painting had finally been recognized. Many big shots would cto the exhibition, and she might
even be granted direct admission to the Art Department of Creybia University.
The more Rachel thought about it, the prouder she felt. She completely forgot that the sketch she submitted was
not her work at all.
Meanwhile, Yolanda from Class A felt slightly surprised when she saw the list.
After all, according to the original Yolanda's memories, Rachel's painting skills were quite average. It was
certainly not up to the standard required to be selected for the First Academy's Art Festival.
However, she merely thought Rachel must have found another artist to create the piece for her and didn't pay it
much mind.
Just after the first class ended in the afternoon, Yolanda received a call from Dunstan. "Ms. Henderson, you need
to cover now!"
