Chapter 250
Sharon had a bit of experience dealing with the officials due to her family's business.
At the stime, she recognized the two men standing in front of her. One was Sean Guerrero, the director of
the State Medical Board, and the other was Dallas Marquez, the chief of the local police station.
Worried that Dunstan and Daniel might act impulsively and make things worse, she quickly stepped forward and
put on a friendly smile.
"I don't know who reported us, but Willow Creek Clinic is a legitimate clinic. There's no way we would allow
unlicensed doctors to work-"
"Cut the crap! Whether you've violated anything isn't up to you to decide. It's up to us!" Sean interrupted her
arrogantly. His belly jutted out as he shouted, "Get your owner out here! If she doesn't cout right now, we're
shutting down your clinic on the spot!"

Yolanda, who stood nearby, raised an eyebrow. It was clear now that they were indeed targeting her.
"What right do you have to shut us down? Show us your closure order first!" Daniel stepped forward to shield
Sharon. "Otherwise, we're not letting you in!"
"Ha! Do you really think you can see the closure order?" Sean scoffed. "A punk like you is obviously just the
owner's accomplice. You'll all have to cwith us for questioning!"
"What's going on? This clinic has been operating for so long without any issues," a patient in the waiting area
couldn't help but chin when he saw the aggressive stance of Sean and Dallas.
"Don't you know Willow Creek Clinic is a century-old establishment? There's no way it's operating without a
license!"
"Exactly! The doctors here are so dedicated!"
"Why don't you self-proclaimed officials do something about the rampant overcharging in hospitals? The number
of medications covered by insurance is getting smaller and smaller. Most effective drugs are out-of-pocket! At
this rate, us ordinary folks won't be able to afford medical care anymore!"
"The doctors at Willow Creek Clinic have great skills, and they don't overcharge! That's not illegal, is that? Who
are you to slander them?"
Upon hearing that Sean planned to shut down Willow Creek Clinic, the patients quickly rallied in support of the
clinic.
"My wife was treated for food poisoning by Dr. Henderson, and she only charged us 50 bucks! If we had gone to
a hospital, it would have cost hundreds!"
"Exactly! Willow Creek Clinic offers the most reasonable prices. Why don't you go after those big hospitals
instead?"
As soon as someone spoke up, the emotions of the surrounding crowd and patients were stirred up.
They had long been fed up with the high-handedness of the officials. Moreover, Sean and his group were used to
bullying people without regard for the common folks.

"Shut up!" Dallas shouted impatiently. "Keep talking, and I'll have you all arrested!" "On what grounds?" the
crowd protested.
"On the grounds of obstructing official duties! Obstructing official duties can lead to a maximum of 15 days of
detention and a permanent record. You better think twice. If you have a record, your kids might not be able to
take the official recruitment exams in the future!"
Dallas’ words struck a chord. The middle-aged crowd was clearly worried about the futures of their children and
fell silent.
Dallas smirked triumphantly and continued to intimidate them. "All of you better mind your own business. This
clinic is definitely operating with issues, so don't aid and abet them!"
"Who said my clinic has issues?" Yolanda pushed through the crowd and stood in front of Dallas and Sean.
"Yolanda!"
"Dr. Henderson!"
Sharon, Dunstan, and the others felt a surge of hope as they saw her.
