Chapter 255 Those eyes, I wouldn't mistake it for another. It was definitely Eros I saw in my vision.
Was there truly a way for Eros to still be alive? I wasn't sure myself.
Adonis, Lord Shevek, and everyone else have confirmed that Eros was killed. They toldthey saw Pison rip his heart out of his chest.
A chill ran through me.
I don't know what to believe, but my visions have always turned out to be true, and if I were to go by that, then Eros was alive somewhere, buried under ice.
That would mean that he needed me.
I had to find him.
That would lead to another difficult question. Where exactly would I go to look for him? I only saw a glimpse of him under ice, but I had no idea where exactly that was.
It was almost a hopeless cause.
Tiara stayed down on the ground, her eyes in a daze as she thought about what she had seen.
No longer interested in the fight, I shifted into human form, still sitting in the sposition Tiara sat unmoving. ""Eden?" My father called out.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI ignored him, lost in my thoughts.
I barely noticed when he closed the distance between us and touchedon the shoulder. I jumped up, startled. "Eden." He said softly.
""Yes?" I answered looking up at him from my position.
"Are you okay? What's on your mind?" He asked.
At first I hesitated. I felt a strong urge to tell him exactly what I saw and that Eros might be alive. But I shook my head and looked away.
Not because Lord Shevek couldn't be trusted, but more because it sounded ridiculous to tell him that Eros, who we all thought was dead, was possibly alive somewhere, buried under ice.
I couldn't tell him what I just saw. He wouldn't believe me, no one would, not when they claimed they saw Eros get killed.
Besides, I could hardly believe it myself. It would be terrible to give the people hope only for it to turn into a lie.
I would hate to do that.
"I'm fine." I finally answered him. "Nothing is wrong." Lord Shevek raised his brow in disbelief. "Your face says otherwise." He said.
I sighed, trying to rack my brain for any answer I could find to keep him from asking.
"I just feel a little light-headed, and my stomach hurts." I replied.
Lord Shevek's expression softened quickly. "Let's get you checked." He stretched out his hand to me, and I accepted.
He helpedto my feet as I adjusted my appearance and tried hard to look presentable.
"We don't have a healer. " I said.
"Your mother might be able to detect what is wrong. Or better still, you can rest up." He said.
I highly doubted that, but I didn't argue because it was just a charade in the first place.
I followed my father away from the spot we trained as he ledby the hand to my tent.
My mother was already waiting for us in the tent. She had Zion in her arms while Lily was asleep beside her.
She looked up when she heard us enter the room, and her smile fell into a small frown as she noticed my somber mood. "What is going on?" She asked.
I shook my head before my father could answer. "Nothing. I just need to get a proper rest." I said.
My mother nodded in understanding. "You need one," she said. "Let's leave you to get srest. Shevek and I will be with the children." She stood up, Zion in her arms while her father picked up Lily, and together, they left the tent.
I sighed and sat on the makeshift bed, my mind preoccupied by the vision I saw.
I would give anything to know where Eros was.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Help me." I prayed softly, my heart earnestly hoping that I would be able to get the help I need. "Please moon goddess, showexactly where Eros is." Suddenly I felt a strong wind blow over me. It was hot and uncomfortable, however, my eyes began to close as I fell asleep, lying across against the soft makeshift bed...
I saw myself in a quiet forest surrounded by mountains and trees. A few feet away from where I stood, a cave was opened.
Curious, I moved forward. There was a strange pull that called to me. This cave had a very unusual feeling to it, like skind of power was attached to it.
I shivered.
It was cold here.
The ancient inscriptions etched into the walls of the cave drew my attention and I stretched my hands to touch it. It felt slippery to my. touch and immediately I recoiled, a I.ne swn y feeling of disgust crept through me.
Where was this place? I turned and looked around. Nothing was familiar.
I followed the narrow path I was on deeper into the cave and in no time, I cto a more open space.
I wasn't expecting this place to have a better view than where I walked through.
It looked ethereal.
Fire torches were also attached to the walls, and the inscriptions on the wall were clearer, along with diagrams of Alpha wolves.
In the middle of the space, a pool of blue waters glowed from within.
I stood in awe of what I was seeing.
This looked like skind of royal ritual room.
